Mario Solorzano is a mixed-media artist based in Pomona, California, with a passion for creating art that evokes emotion and surprise. Self-taught and driven by his love for creativity, Mario began painting during the pandemic and quickly found success. His work has been exhibited at prominent venues such as the Heroes Hall Museum, the Huntington Beach Art Center, the San Bernardino County Museum, and the Studio Door in San Diego. Mario's art has also been showcased at community spaces like the Riverside City Council Building, the DA Center for the Arts in Pomona, and the Fox Theater for Pomona’s Mayor’s Address.
Known for his blacklight-reactive art and unique style incorporating hidden surprises, Mario has won awards, including 2nd Place at the Del Mar County Fair, and has painted murals for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. He is also deeply committed to giving back, curating shows like Love and Frida and teaching classes like Arts in the Dark with the Ontario Museum, as well as supporting charitable causes through his time and talent.
