Title: “Becoming the Bird”
In this piece, I pushed further into the fluid connection between body and form. The oversized face—my signature element-now flows seamlessly into a full figure, one that becomes part bird, part protector. I’m experimenting with bold lines and vibrant color contrast-pink, blue, and red-to create tension and movement. There’s a surreal quality: a woman wrapped in feathers, held within the shape of a bird, emerging from her own thoughts. Tentacle-like shapes curl around her, echoing an inner world as alive as the outer one. This work is a step forward-unapologetically bold, organically human, and confidently evolving in style.
